The ministry stated that the past few days witnessed blood tests being conducted in educational institutions, including students from 16 to 18 years old, as well as administrative and educational officials, in a step aimed at curbing the outbreak of Corona virus strains before the situation got out of control.

The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the start of the second phase of vaccination against the virus on February 23 for the age group from 60 to 64 years, as part of expanding the vaccination cycle.

It is reported that Morocco has received 8.5 million doses of the vaccine against the virus, including seven million doses of the AstraZenka vaccine manufactured in India, and 1.5 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.
